Higher Hope & Mark Fuller join efforts in the studio LaGrange, Georgia's own Higher Hope--recording artists with Lamp Music -- went into the studio this month with pianist Mark Fuller, who is best known for his "Eva Mae LeFevre" style. Higher Hope is now in their 7th year of ministry, and want to keep the classic southern gospel sound alive and well. The collaboration with Mark was a natural fit for them.

"Mark is someone we’ve known for a while and we respect him a great deal," says Jenna Byers, founding member and manager of Higher Hope. "During our anniversary concert this year, we collaborated on a few songs. When I realized the listening audience was enjoying it just as much as we were, the idea for this project came to me. It has been such an enjoyable experience that I can already see potential for more projects like this in our future."

Higher Hope: Around the Piano with Mark Fuller will include 12 traditional southern gospel songs and will feature Mark’s distinctive style of piano playing throughout, as well as a solo he picked out just for this project.

"It’s been a great opportunity for me to play piano on this project with Higher Hope. This quartet is a delight to work with and they made me feel so welcome," states Mark Fuller. "I hope that my ‘Eva Mae LeFevre’ piano styling will compliment their voices in an effort to create a very memorable selection of music."
